SMM News on June 13:

As of June 13, 2025, the finished product inventories of secondary lead smelters stood at 25,000 mt, showing an increase of 2,050 mt WoW. The production of most secondary lead smelters was only sufficient to meet long-term contract deliveries. Some enterprises temporarily held back from selling due to loss pressures, with only a few offering quotes for shipments. Consequently, the finished product in-plant inventory of secondary lead smelters continued to rise. With the delivery of the SHFE lead 2507 contract next week, the availability of primary lead in the market will tighten temporarily, and downstream rigid demand may slightly return to the secondary lead market. The inventory changes of secondary lead enterprises will still depend on actual transaction conditions.
